The Origins of Buddy N Beast
Buddy N Beast was inspired by the wild, wonderful, and often chaotic world of pet ownership. Bringing an animal—a beast at heart—into our homes and transforming it into a beloved companion is a journey like no other. Picture the very first pet owner, trying to tame a natural predator and calling it “Fluffy.” Madness! But with food, patience, and love, these little “beasts” become our closest buddies.
A Personal Journey That Sparked a Mission
In 2024, I faced the heartbreak of losing my 17-year-old Papillon, Daisy. The emptiness was overwhelming. But soon, two new pups, miniature Bernedoodles named Ellie and Ava, filled my life with energy and laughter—alongside plenty of mischief! Reflecting on my experience with them and seeing the immense number of pets in shelters, many of whom may never find a forever home, I felt a calling to do more.
Shelters across the U.S. are often overcrowded, with countless dogs facing euthanasia each year due to a lack of resources and adopters. This reality strengthened my commitment to Ellie and Ava and inspired me to launch Buddy N Beast to help address the shelter crisis.
